The choice: Saul, ‘the worst of sinners’ (1 Tim 1v16). The chooser: Jesus, the Lord of glory and authority. The purpose: ‘to carry my name’ (v15). Jesus can use whoever he chooses! Even you! Even … (who is the most unlikely person you know?). The risen Jesus changes us to change the world!

What did they do? How did they do it? How does your Church match up? What could the Lord do with your Church?

Are you running the race? Run seriously. Drop distractions. Stop sinning. Stay focused. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep going! ‘By faith’.

Faith involves triumphs and hardships (v32-38). Do you hope for triumphs? God can turn weakness to strength! Do you hope through hardships? The world is not worthy of you! Faith involves waiting (v39) Do you wait well? Faith makes all the difference. Faith involves ‘something better’ (v40). ‘Something better for us’ - we have a new covenant. ‘Made perfect’ - we will have resurrection life, sinless, deathless. ‘Together with us’ - we will be united with all God’s people

If you can't see a way out....faith is always possible. If God is holding you back....faith does it his way. If God can't possibly want you....faith is for 'whoever'.
