There’s plenty going on during the week at Highbury Baptist Church — from Sunday worship to prayer gatherings and community English classes.
Our Sunday service is the main time we gather together as a church. It’s a relaxed and welcoming time of worship, prayer, and Bible teaching.
You don’t need to know what to expect or what to believe — just come as you are.
When: Sundays at 11am and 2:30pm
Where: Highbury Baptist Church, N5 1QL
Fellowship is central to our life together as a church throughout each week. We get together formally to study the Bible and pray for one another, and informally to eat, relax and support each other.
When: Mondays at 6pm
A smaller, friendly gathering to share a meal and then explore the Christian faith in the Gospel of Mark.
When: Wednesdays, 7:30–8:30pm
A simple time of studying part of the Bible followed by an informal time of praying together. You’re welcome to contribute or listen quietly — whatever you’re comfortable with.
We run free English classes for adults in the local community, open to beginners and intermediate learners of all faiths and none.
Each session includes grammar, conversation, and practical examples for everyday life, sometimes illustrated from the Bible.
We meet at 40a Highbury Place, Highbury, London, N5 1QL — a welcoming community right by Highbury Fields.
