Sunday Meetings

When do we meet?

Sunday Morning:  11:00 – 12:15
Sunday Afternoon:  14:30 – 15:30

What do we do?

Our services are quite straightforward and simple. There is no ceremony to perform, no religious words to repeat, and no collection is made.

On Sunday mornings we sing traditional hymns and modern Christian songs, we pray to God, and we read from the Bible. The primary focus is the Word of God, when (for about 30-35 minutes) a pastor opens up a passage of the Bible, helping us to understand what it means and how it relates to our everyday lives. Visitors are always welcome; you don’t have to participate, you may just listen and watch if you prefer. After the meeting there is a chance to chat and get to know one another (with free hot drinks served). We often eat lunch together. Those who come to the service are invited to join us for this.

On Sunday afternoons we often meet more informally to study the Bible together. We may sing, pray, read from the Bible and then discuss what it teaches us. Visitors are also welcome at this meeting. On the 1st Sunday of each month we hold the Lord's Supper, for our members and for baptised believers visiting from other churches.

Important note: On Sundays, parking is free on the streets around our building, but this changes on days when there is a football match being played at Arsenal's nearby Emirates stadium. On these Sundays we have free parking vouchers available for any visitors who come by car.  Please ask the person welcoming on the door to give you one of these vouchers.
