What to expect
If you are new to our church, you may be wondering what to expect if you come to one of our 11am Sunday morning services. We start at 11am and encourage you to arrive by 10.50am if you can.
We don't have a particular dress code, and we are very comfortable with young children coming too!
When you arrive at our front door you will be welcomed by a few of us who will hopefully be able to help answer immediate questions you have. You will be directed upstairs to our main hall where we hold our main meetings. If you prefer, one of us will help you use the lift at the rear of our building.
When you arrive in our main meeting hall you will see a room with chairs laid out facing the front stage where the pulpit stands. One of us will discuss with you where to sit and offer you a Bible to use during the meeting. At the moment, we project the words of the hymns and songs onto the front screen.
We have a toilet in the main entrance and further toilets upstairs to the side of the main hall. At the back of the main hall (near the stairs you come up) we have space for you to use if you have a nursing baby or energetic toddler.
One of the leaders will explain the order of the service so that you are clear what is going on. You are free to sit and observe or to participate in the singing etc as you wish.
At the end of the service, which normally finishes around 12.15pm, you can either leave or stay for free refreshments and a chance to meet others. Quite often we also provide a lunch for those who attend the morning service.
Hopefully this has helped you know what to expect. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us in advance or ask when you arrive.
We hope to welcome you soon!
